死霑叔逗笑活學友

今天是我人生第一次望彌撒，回到母校追思黃霑學長。

同場的名人不多，沒有照相機，沒有狗仔隊，只有霑學長生前的真摯學友，和我們一班少不更事的後輩師弟。不少老鬼竟然是昨天從外地趕回來的，他們箇中的情誼自是不言而喻。主持彌撒的神父Fr. Baptista，是霑學長當日出任Head Prefect時的副手。看著他念經時感觸得無法讀下去，我感到既是遙遠，卻又親切。

儀式後播放了學弟們訪問霑學長的片段，猶記得霑學長對著白敏慈神父說的一句話：「喇沙總會出一些聖人（指著白神父說），和一些壞人嘛（指著自己說）！」然後一個招牌的「哈哈哈哈」，不禁讓鴉雀無聲的禮堂爆出笑聲，真是「死霑叔逗笑活學友」，足與「死諸葛嚇走生仲達」媲美，哈哈哈哈。

自嘲，是一種幽默技巧，霑老鬼可謂得其英華。

Special Memorial Mass for the Late James Wong

In the evening, a special memorial mass for the late Dr. James Wong was held in the School Hall at 7:00 pm.
Besides presenting our tribute in the mass, students have also been posting their words and feeling onto “The wall” setup by SA in memory of James.
Display boards have also been set up at the school entrance, showing the life of our beloved old boy.

Music Corner

The Music Corner was held in the garden during lunch time today. Mr. Christian Wan played some old songs of Dr. James Wong with guitar, accompanied by 4 other students.

喇沙書院300人悼黃霑　12月9日（星期四）

【明報專訊】喇沙書院昨日為已故校友、「一代詞神」黃霑舉行追思會，約有300人出席，包括黃霑的長子、兄弟及書院的舊生與學生。學校安排了數名學生在門口接待處以小提琴拉奏黃霑生前的7首名曲，包括《滄海一聲笑》、《勇敢的中國人》及《獅子山下》等。

追思會於昨晚6時半開始，在喇沙書院的禮堂內以天主教儀式進行，由黃霑的同學白敏慈神父帶領﹔他與黃霑交情深厚，二人當年分別擔當正、副領袖生。白帶領嘉賓進行追思彌撒及感恩祭後，學校歌詠團領唱頌讚歌，並唱出黃霑生前為母校翻譯的校歌中文版。

【東方日報專訊】黃霑母校喇沙書院昨夜特別於學校禮堂舉行追思彌撒悼念霑叔，由霑叔同屆畢業的同學白敏慈神父主持，學生組成的歌詠團領唱聖詩及中文版校歌。雖然現場沒有唱出霑叔生前的經典名作，但儀式開始前，有學生於場外拉小提琴及大提琴奏出霑叔生前一系列經典的金曲如《滄海一聲笑》、《中國人》、《獅子山下》、《家變》、《親情》、《世間始終你好》及《明星》等，曲曲動人心弦，霑叔的兄弟及兒子亦有到場，但就未見霑叔現任太太Winnie出現。

據喇沙書院劉煒堅校長透露，今次除了追思彌撒外，更特別設有感恩祭，他透露曾翻查霑叔在校紀錄，大讚霑叔是個能文能武的優材生外，亦是現今學生的模範，當時霑叔更與白敏慈神父分別為學生會的正、副領袖。劉校長認為霑叔的成就乃喇沙書院的一份光榮，至於會否設立獎學金？劉校長坦言要跟霑叔的家人商量後才決定。

Special Memorial Mass for the Late James Wong

La Salle College and La Salle College Old Boys' Association will jointly organize a special memorial mass for the late James Wong. His departure is a great loss to us all. James Wong had always been one of the most loyal old boys in the past and we are all deeply indebted to his support, contribution and kindness to us through the years. It is time for us to pay a special tribute to our beloved old boy - Wong Jum Sum, our Head Prefect of 1959.
Date: 8th December 2004 (Wednesday)
Time: 7:00pm
Venue: School Hall - La Salle College

Reception starts at 6:30pm with a display of the school life of James Wong. Father Marciano Baptista ( Vice-Head Prefect 1959) will celebrate the Mass. There will be eulogies after the Mass by Lasallians.

Please make an effort to attend and join us to bid farewell to this great man in our own Lasallian way. - "La Salle is something more"
